The Euroguidelines in Central and Eastern Europe (ECEE) Network Group was established in February 2016 in order to supervise and harmonize the standards of diagnosis and treatment of patients living with HIV and at risk of HIV in Central and Eastern Europe and neighboring countries. The ECEE Network Group brings together key experts in the field of infectious diseases from 27 countries across the region. Most of its members are also practitioners who are recognized in Europe both in terms of their professional achievements and their active efforts to improve the quality of healthcare in their country or region. The activities of the ECEE Network Group are endorsed by the European AIDS Clinical Society and the Medical University of Warsaw. As part of the ECEE, scientific conferences and educational workshops are organized. The group is also actively involved in research collecting data on the epidemiology, prevention, and treatment of such infectious diseases as HIV, and co-infection with viral hepatitis, COVID-19 and Mpox. The results of the ECEE group’s work have been presented over the last nine years at the international conferences as well as being published in prestigious medical journals.
