Dr. Nino Rukhadze is an infectious disease specialist specializing in HIV/AIDS research and treatment. She has graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University with a medical degree and completed a clinical residency in infectious diseases. Dr. Rukhadze has received her PhD from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, specializing in the causes and consequences of hospitalization of HIV-infected patients in Georgia. Currently she is working as a physician at the Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center, the leading institution in Georgia for the treatment of HIV, viral hepatitis and other infectious diseases and as an infectious disease consultant at the National Tuberculosis Center as well. In addition to her clinical work and activities, Dr. Rukhadze is an Associate Professor at Alta University. She is a member of the various professional associations, including the European AIDS Clinical Society and Euroguidelines in Central and Eastern Europe Network Group.
