Dr Agata Skrzat-Klapaczyńska is a Senior Assistant at the Department for Adult’s Infectious Diseases at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases, Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. After obtaining her medical degree from the Medical University of Lublin, she specialised in infectious diseases in Warsaw. In 2018 she defended her PhD, which has the title: “Non-AIDS Defining Bacterial Infections in HIV-Positive Patients during Antiretroviral Therapy”. Her main fields of scientific interest are non-AIDS defining illnesses in HIV-positive patients during antiretroviral therapy, especially bacterial infections, women with HIV, and standards of care for HIV and viral hepatitis in Central and Eastern European countries. She is a member of the YING Faculty and Vice President of Euroguidelines in Central and Eastern Europe Network Group Association.
