Dr Nikolina Bogdanić is an infectious diseases resident doctor at the University Hospital for Infectious Diseases „Dr. Fran Mihaljević“ in Zagreb, Croatia, currently enrolled in her third year of residency. HIV/AIDS is the main area of interest for her. She is also enrolled in her second year of PhD programme at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb. Her main research interests are PrEP, HIV treatment and care and sexually transmitted diseases among MSM population. She works at CheckPoint Zagreb – community based centre for education and voluntary, confidential and free rapid testing for HIV, HCV and syphilis. In October 2020 she started a pilot project: self-testing for HIV at home in Zagreb for MSM population in collaboration with CheckPoint and University Hospital for Infectious Diseases „Dr. Fran Mihaljević“.
