Dr Kerstin Aimla (previously Kase) is an Infectious Diseases doctor and a lecturer in Tartu University Hospital in Estonia. She has studied medicine in Tartu University and worked as Infectious Diseases doctor and Infection Control doctor in West Tallinn Central Hospital for 12 years. She is working on her PhD and her main research interests include understanding the impact of hepatitis and other coinfections to HIV infection. She is a board member of Estonian Infectious Diseases Society and a member of Estonian Society of Infection Control and Euroguidelines in Central and Eastern Europe Network Group.
