Dr Bartłomiej Matłosz is a consultant nephrologist at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases in Warsaw, Poland. He was trained in internal medicine and nephrology at Transplantation Institute in Warsaw, Poland. He has completed his Ph.D. at the Warsaw Medical University, Poland on BK virus infection in solid organ transplant recipients. Since 2014 he is involved in HIV patients care. His main research interests include viral infections in immunocompromised patients as well as impact of HIV infection on kidney function.
